(a) Immunohistochemistry of pAkt expression in SKBR3 and MCF7 cells: (i) SKBR3 cells stained with pAkt (Ser473) antibody, (ii) SKBR3 cells stained with secondary antibody only (negative control), (iii) MCF7 cells stained with pAkt (Ser473) antibody, and (iv) MCF7 cells stained with secondary antibody only. The arrows indicate very strong pAkt stain in the cytoplasm and nuclear areas of SKBR3 cells, whereas light pAkt stain was observed in the cytoplasm of MCF7 cells.
