Pregnancy in the mature adult mouse does not alter the proportion of mammary epithelial stem/progenitor cells

No significant differences exist in stem/progenitor cell numbers between mammary epithelium isolated from mature adult mice that had been through pregnancy at nine weeks old, and age-matched virgin mice.
